28a - your Exit Strategy
1)
For myself personally there are several business
ideas that I want to test out in the market at some point. But going with a Brunch
style restaurant in the college town of Gainesville but exit strategy would be
to sell it off in x amount of years after I move on to another business venture
idea.
2)
I made this decision because I know for a fact
that Gainesville is not where I want to live one day or have my kids raised in,
so I won’t want to be running that restaurant for very long. It’s a neat idea
but I would want someone else running that company after I get tired of it and
move on.
3)
My exit strategy has most definitely affected my
outlook on the company and how much effort I would want to put into its growth
at the beginning, because I know it’s not my end goal one day.
Evan,
ReplyDeleteThis was a really good post. You have a very interesting take on how you want to exit your business. You have thought very far into the future on how to leave this business. I also really like your reasoning for wanting to leave the business as well. I personally was not going to leave my business for a long time. I wanted to use it as a base for other business ventures. Many people seem to want to leave their business after a few years. Great post.
Hi Evan,
ReplyDeleteI think you did a great job explaining your exit strategy. By knowing the exit plan it allows you to decide how much you time you want to put into the business. My back up plan would be to pass down my business to my family when i decide to move on to a new project.
Hey Evan!
ReplyDeleteGreat job on this week’s blog post. For your brunch style restaurant, I can agree that your exit strategy for your brunch style restaurant would be to sell it and build another venture elsewhere. I also liked how you thought about the future with your family and your children. This is especially important for your business as a whole and the future within your life. Overall, great job!
Hi Evan,
ReplyDeleteGood job on your post about your exit strategy. I think selling your idea would be an ideal option for a company such as yours. If you were able to turn it into a franchise, you could probably sell it for a lot of money also! I never realized the importance of thinking up n exit strategy but it is good to plan for the future.
