Opportunity Identified: Commercial Real Estate Investors are having to revise previous fundamental criteria such as public transit and infrastructure access points when developing properties nationwide due to climate change and rising sea levels. Product/Service to counteract problem: With the problem listed above, it’s inevitable and never going to go away. With that being said there are a couple measures a country or city can take to divert the problems that are coming our ways. First with rising water levels in the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans, transporting electric infrastructure up off the bottom floors/basements of buildings and to numerous floors up with benefit keeping the hardware of a building intact and safe. Constructing water proof fences around older buildings that are subject to water damage would benefit those infrastructures from deteriorating.
