ENT3003 11a - Idea Napkin No. 1
1- My talents include brining people together under an homogenous cause and passion. My aspirations for this idea include being able to own my business and the intrinsic motivation behind that. As well as running a business that brings people together, where I can enjoy the work I'm doing. In my life I could see this business idea trampolining into other restaurants I would then open.
2- I'm offering my customers a family owned oriented breakfast and lunch venue that serves not great food but comes with an atmosphere that is welcoming to everyone.
3- Who I'm offering this to really depends on the location that I end up placing this corporation in.
4- This business idea is valuable and worthwhile because people will always pay for good food, a setting of good ambience, and the memories that come along with those two facets.
5- Core competencies include once again -- the value of good food, a homey atmosphere and great customer service.
I believe that all five of these components do indeed fit together and go hand-in-hand. It would be hard to start up a successful business without all these facets depicted above. In saying this, all of these should be taken into account heavily.
Hey Evan,
ReplyDeleteI really like your family owned food venue idea! I feel like these places are being replaced by large corporations and the atmosphere of a mom’n’paps place does not really exist anymore. It really is hard to pin point a target audience before you know where to position the business so your answer to number three is all you really could have said. Great job over all!
Hi Evan! I really love your idea of a family-owned food venue. There aren’t many places like that nowadays, and if there are, they can be difficult to find. As much as I love the big industry kind of restaurants, going to one that feels cozy and homey is more my style. I also agree with your answer for number three. Determining who you’d be offering this to would be based upon the location you end up in.
ReplyDeleteHey Evan! Great job on this week’s blog post. You did a great job of explaining all of your different aspects and what you would bring to the table if you were to follow through with your idea. Family-owned restaurants are great for everyone. Overall, I think you did a great job! I hope you follow through with opening your restaurant and you feed many people!
