14a: Halfway Reflection

The behaviors that I’ve used and developed throughout this course in order to keep up with the material include very efficient time management abilities. This course has strict due dates that are in place, and one cannot slip up on this and expect to achieve excellence in this class or receive a grade they’re happy with.

Overall for these past two months I’ve felt tenacious when bombarded when loads of work in all my classes and the organizations that I’ve been a part of. At these points then I’ve been pulled in different directions and had to focus on what’s important

Three tips I would offer next semester’s students would be 1) get on top of your work quickly and try to get ahead if you can. 2) watch lectures because they’re really beneficial. 3) Find a group in this class that you get close with, thus you can bounce ideas off of.

  1. Hey Evan,

I used a lot of these same behaviors in this class. I liked your tips and definitely could have benefitted me if I was able to read them before this class. This class is relatively rigorous and requires the student to be aware and ready right when the class begins. As long as everything is done in the class you get an A. Great job!

  2. Hey Evan!
I can definitely agree with you that this class requires a lot of time management skills. I also felt pulled in multiple directions, especially during the week of first exams. I definitely learned to be on top of my work and work ahead of schedule if possible. Most of our tips for other students were pretty similar. Overall, great job on this week’s post!
